Question ongoing attacks
I sended attack, but I was unable to find any information on it, not even time of arrival to target and to my city, so not sure that even incoming attacks can be seen....
so question:
does this mean that unless I activate general, I'm totally blind?

yes it does mean that because the general gives you overhead action when attacking also when defending
